HUMANITIES GARDENING ROOTS
Types of Local Gardens: Backdoor, Front Door, Back Yard, Roof Top, Potted Plants, Indoor, Greenhouse, Community, Regional We all share many grave concerns about the quality of our food because of pesticides, GMOS and other environmental toxins that affect how our food is grown and delivered. When we are trying to maintain our health or heal an illness pure food is essential. In the event of a disaster, availability of food will immediately become an emergency if transportation lines are down for any extended length of time. The average bite of food travels 1500 miles to your plate. There is an answer to these modern problems we face in our food system. PLANT A GARDEN! By working with your soil using natural farming methods you can grow organic healthy food for your family and help create local food sustainability in your region. This is perhaps one of the most important connections we can make with the energy of nature and our inner selves. This connection is so powerful for healing, developing our consciousness and understanding our deep connection to nature and all life. Everything that has ever existed in this world throughout the history of planet earth is contained in our soil. It is from this precious resource that life emerges and is made possible for humans. This is why we are all one. We are literally made from everything that has ever existed through the food we eat. Join us in spreading the word that reconnecting to the earth by gardening in your own neighborhood is the best way to create food security for everyone in the future. These are pictures from my family’s garden. We invite you to join us and the increasing number of people going back to humanities gardening roots.
