When I first was introduced to macrobiotics, in the late 70s, I was amazed about the transformation that a healthy life style has brought to my everyday living including wholesome nutrition, gentle exercise programs and meditation.
Over the years I had the opportunity to further my studies in manual therapy modalities and started helping people with relaxation and now as a Rolfer TM with their structural imbalances. The results have been profound.
I have known John for many years and I am really glad that I had the opportunity to complete this program. The information in this program is rich in depth and in world views. I am really excited about the opportunity to be able to complement my practice with evidence based full spectrum macrobiotics nutrition consultations and life style suggestions.
I recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their personal health and are interested in developing their health coach practices.
I am also very grateful to John and his lifelong dedication to studying and teaching this innovative approach to health and life.

I have spent almost my whole life studying mental and physical health. How to obtain wellness is my primary focus of work. I blog in Macrobiotica Mediterranea, a Spanish language blog where I post about macrobiotics and the best way to use it. I work intensely as a health and nutrition consultant in Sha Wellness Clinic, a wellness center on the East Coast of Spain, having around 900 consultations a year.
I have studied Macrobiotics in Becket (Massachusetts), Spain, South of France and Holland. The Full Spectrum Macrobiotics approach taught by John Kozinski includes but transcend the previous studies. Now, I can use all these ancient knowledge in a much more precise way. Thank you very much, John.
Higher Technician in Nutrition and Dietetics
Full Spectrum Macrobiotic Approach Health Coach
Four levels macrobiotic teacher (Kushi Institute and Spanish Macrobiotic Institute)
Degrees: Psychology, and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
Mindfulness instructor by Center for Mindfulness, UMass Medical School.

Alan's Testimonial
In the early 1970s in Minneapolis I had dropped out of college and was living a rather aimless life. I went into a bookstore near the university campus and bought the book Zen Macrobiotics by George Oshawa. I discussed it with a fellow taxi driver and we began making changes in our diet. We discovered that there were Macrobiotic teachers running a restaurant and giving lectures in Minneapolis. We began attending lectures and cooking a larger variety of foods, but I struggled with extremely low energy on the near vegan diet that was being recommended at the time. After a year or so I went back toward my old diet while staying away from refined sugar and red meat. My friend moved to Boston to continue to study. After a couple of years I also went to Boston, lived in a study house, and attended lectures and workshops, including the first Macrobiotic Summer Conference in 1975. However, I still struggled and moved back to Minneapolis where I again widened my diet. I married and tried to keep healthy foods such as whole grains and cooked vegetables in my diet, but I also included processed foods, a lot of coffee, and (as I now know) a lot of poor quality fats. Eventually the whole grains and vegetables became less and less. My wife passed away in 2006 and about that time, investigating online the status of the Macrobiotic community in Boston, I learned that prominent Macrobiotic teachers had died of cancer or were being treated for cancer. This put a damper on my enthusiasm. In 2013 I again felt an urge to investigate Macrobiotics, feeling that I had let myself and others down by not pursuing a healthier lifestyle. In the summer of 2013 I attended the Macrobiotic Summer Conference in New Jersey. One of the lecturers was John Kozinski. I was impressed by John's approach to Macrobiotics and eventually scheduled a consultation with him. Since then I have had several consultations with him and listened to dozens of his CDs.
When John announced the Full Spectrum MacrobioticsTM training in Chicago I jumped at the opportunity. The training is very comprehensive and provides a vast amount of information to help others (and myself) with the healing process. I was especially excited to learn the 6 Conditions of Imbalance, a guideline for diagnosing a person's overall condition, each with an explanation of how an individual developed his or her specific condition, as well as treatment guidelines.
John's materials reveal to me personally why I have been frustrated over the years trying to follow the dietary recommendations from my past Macrobiotic teachers. The materials also encourage me that I can help others with healing. I am grateful to John for making all of this information available to me after many years of research and hard work on his part.
I am not currently actively lecturing or coaching using the information from this training, but I have made my email (above) available, if you wish to contact me.

Just over 10 years ago I traveled to Western Massachusetts to study Macrobiotics. I lived with like minded people and studied philosophy, cooking, shiatsu, diagnosis, and anatomy and physiology. Amongst all of the information I was exposed to, the most poignant words I can remember were, "Non Credo" or no belief.
These words are meant to challenge belief systems, a reminder to embrace change, to encourage adaptation, to experience in order to believe...and is a basic tenant of true macrobiotic philosophy.
I took the Diagnosis+Nutrition TM Health Coach training with John Kozinski because he taught me this back then, and he is still living and teaching it today. He had the courage to challenge dietary and philosophical ideology. He questioned his own methods to better understand the complex needs of individuals in the modern world. He used his experience and curiosity to develop a healing approach that synthesizes various traditional and modern perspectives.
The buzz phrase in the health or healing professions is "Evidenced Based Practice." This is the development of a health practice based on current research, clinical expertise, and client preference. John's approach embodies this idea fully. Full Spectrum Macrobiotics and Integrative Diagnosis are true evidence based practices, and I'm grateful for John's lifelong dedication to studying and teaching this way of approaching life and health.

John Kozinski’s Full Spectrum Macrobiotic Training Program supplied me an extensive tool kit that has allowed me to assess an individual’s present health condition, then to reaffirm these observations through observing the visual signs of the individual’s constitutional makeup, and taught me how to employ John’s Natural Healing Strategies for optimal health utilizing his Full Spectrum Macrobiotic™ approach.
I gained insight into the leading causes of illness and disease, I gained an understanding of the limited use of all austere diets, the importance of quality supplementation, and in addition, the course exposed many diet myths all while emphasizing how to apply John’s sound lifestyle and natural eating practices to correct imbalances in the body.
As an addendum, John supplied us with a reading list while encouraging us to look at various philosophies upon which John’s approach is based in order to qualify the research for ourselves. John’s decades of practical experience giving health consultations and teaching needs no further qualification.
I recommend this program to anyone who is interested in gaining personal health, and to practitioners who are interested in expanding or advancing their health coaching practices.

Many thanks go out to you, John, for your sincere dedication, research, and diligence in bringing Full Spectrum Macrobiotics to the forefront of 21st Century Healing. I found your site because I was becoming desperate with my health condition after many years of having practiced Vegetarianism, Veganism, Pseudo-Macrobiotics, and Raw Foods. I sought out macrobiotic counselors with whom I had remembered at that point and read their sites. However, yours was the only one I could relate to, since regressing to the old macrobiotic practice would have put me right back to the beginning and in a more precarious health condition.
I began to listen to your free CD’s on your site and then became hungry for more. I bought the 11 CD bundle and kept digging into the info. This was around mid-June of 2016. At that point, I still needed to find out more about my own health condition and how to reverse the symptoms of pre-diabetes, low metabolism, thyroid issues, high cholesterol, chronic infections, and adrenal fatigue. These issues were certainly not addressed by medical doctors in the way we have learned and of course many things do not show up on blood tests.
Within the next few weeks, I set up an appointment for a consultation with John, and we did a Skype consult and I finally felt as though as I was on the right track. At this time, May, 2017, ten months since, I am still in recovery mode after having had 3 additional consultations. I am making progress balancing out my health condition using principles of Full Spectrum MacrobioticsTM.
After 35 years of eating no animal foods, I was actually craving them. Because I had had extensive past macrobiotic experience in cooking and giving classes and consultations, I already knew the methodology related to preparing grains, beans and vegetables. I just had to add the soaking, initiate the bone broths and other “new” foods. Instead of having to eliminate items like sweeteners and more refined grains, I gained a whole new perspective on having additional choices.
I have also instituted a Somatics practice and Chi Chung exercises. I have already Completed the Nutrition, Lifestyle and Diagnosis Program and earned my Certificate of Completion on August 8, 2016. In addition I have just completed the Diagnosis + NutritionTM Coach Certificate of Completion Program and have already coached a few clients.
The program has dispelled many of the myths of nutrition which I had been lead to believe via my past practice of other nutritional venues as mentioned above. As we all evolve and grow,
I am now always looking at peoples faces, ears, and ask to see friends’ tongues (just to name a few areas). I find the diagnosis aspect fascinating and have really learned so many new things about supplements and nutrition which has also been a huge growth period for myself. Again, I cannot thank you enough for your insight, wisdom, caring and extensive research.--Chana Rachel Kean -- Jerusalem, Israel
